2021 Mt. Richmond Pinot noir

Mt. Richmond Vineyard is located a few miles west of Lemelson nestled in the foothills of the coast range. Owned and farmed by Elk Cove Vineyards, we acquire Pinot noir from this site each year through a grape trade with our colleagues. Elk Cove receives Meyer fruit from our Dundee Hills Estate vineyard which they release under their Pike Road label. We produce this Mt. Richmond Pinot noir exclusively for our wine club with a touch of Lemelson flair. The 2021 version is 100% Pommard clone, showing classic fruit forward elements of Mosier cherries, red plum, cassis and rose petals. The texture is lush, broad and highly structured making this a fantastic addition to our single vineyard Pinot noir lineup.
