With sweeping vineyard views and exceptional Pinot noirs, we invite you to share in an experience that is more than just a tasting room, you’re in our winery.

Please join us to sample our estate-grown wines sourced from our five certified Organic vineyards spanning three of the Willamette Valley’s AVAs.

All wine tasting will be hosted in our limited indoor space, or outdoors – weather permitting. Walk-ins are welcomed depending on availability. Outside food and well behaved pets are allowed on our outdoor patio only.

THE EXPERIENCE

We invite you to visit us for a unique wine tasting experience. Learn about our traditional approach to winemaking and our innovative gravity flow designed winery while enjoying a comprehensive tasting of single-vineyard, estate-grown Pinot noirs and phenomenal white wine selections.

You are welcome to request a quick stroll around the winery on your visit. Immerse yourself in the views of our Stermer vineyard right across the street, the Coast Range mountains in the distance and the magnificent stand of Douglas Firs directly adjacent to the winery in this stunning green Willamette Valley.

Our three level beautiful outdoor patio seating offers ample room to spread out. Picnic blanket areas are also open underneath the shady trees near the tasting room. Enjoy your wine or picnic lunch while you learn more about the unique terroir of Oregon’s Willamette Valley viticultural areas (AVAs).

During the colder months join us to enjoy the crisp air and the invigorating scent of evergreens on our wood burning fireplace patio or wind down while you lounge on our back patio seating next to a cozy fire table.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE VISITING

  • Our Wine Club Members receive a total of four complimentary wine tastings per visit.
  • Our tasting fee is $30 for a flight of 5 wines. The tasting fee is waived with a wine purchase of $100+.
  • Picnics are welcome on our outdoor Tasting Room patios. We ask guests to dispose of all disposable items in the outdoor waste receptacles.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome in our outdoor areas. Please keep them leashed at all times.

Valentine’s Bouquet Days

February 14-16

Join us at the winery for this unique Valentine’s weekend experience. Come out to taste a special flight of wines, including our 2023 Rosé, and sample our first ever Syrah while creating your own dried flower bouquet that will stand the test of time! Plus take home a box of delicious truffles from our friends at Arrowhead chocolates in St.Joseph. This promises to be a memorable time for you and your special someone, a great friend or family!

Bird Walk with Mike Houck

Join us on Sunday May 4th for our second annual Spring bird walk at Lemelson Vineyards. This event was so popular in 2024 and Mike Houck, our urban naturalist guide is so fantastic to work with, we just had to bring this educational experience back for an encore! Walk as part of a small group through one or more of our organically farmed Yamhill-Carlton Estate vineyards as Mike uses sight and sound to identify both common and more elusive avian species. Birds of prey, wading birds, songbirds, hummingbirds and more are common visitors to our property. This experience will conclude with a sneak peek featuring special pours of our 2024 white wines back at the tasting room. Bring your binoculars, hiking shoes, phones loaded with bird apps and get ready for an unforgettable day in our little piece of pristine Oregon terrain.

The cellar at Lemelson Vineyards

January 2025 Barrel Tasting Experience

Saturday, January 25
Reservations at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
$25 Per Person

Join us this winter for a club exclusive limited access tasting and tour of our cellar. We will be pulling samples of our 2023 Pinot noir straight from the barrels – just weeks before we begin racking them in preparation for spring bottling! This experience will begin with the tasting in our barrel room and conclude with a few special library pours back upstairs. This will be an intimate hands on educational experience so just 12 tickets are available per time slot.

The barrel tasting portion of this event will be held in our underground cellar. Dress warmly as temperatures in our caves will be in the 50’s, the cellar tour and tasting will take approximately one hour and will be followed by a library flight upstairs.
